Rovrr (“Rovrr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates withrovrr.com (the “Platform”), a technology platform designed to help individuals discover and evaluate relevant employment opportunities and manage their job search more efficiently.

Rovrr provides users with tools and features such as job discovery, opportunity matching, career insights, application-document generation, interview practice, mock interview preparations and other AI-assisted features designed to support an individual’s independent job search journey.

Rovrr is not an employer, recruitment agency, staffing agency, or placement agency. Rovrr provides technology-based tools and services to support users in their independent job-search activities and does not guarantee employment, interviews, selection, hiring, or any particular employment outcome.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and share information when you access or use the Platform and its services.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and agree to the processing of your personal information as described herein, where consent is required under applicable law. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Platform.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Depending on the services you use, we may collect:

Name, email address, phone number, date of birth where required, and location
Resume/CV content, employment history, educational qualifications, professional experience, skills, and other career-related information
Profile preferences, including target roles, salary expectations, preferred work arrangements, locations, industries, and target markets
Account credentials and authentication information
Information you provide when contacting our support team or communicating with us
Payment and billing information necessary to process purchases, such as transaction identifiers, payment status, billing details, and related records

We do not require or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net banking credentials, or other payment authentication credentials on Rovrr’s systems. Such payment information is processed by our authorized payment service providers.

1.2 Information Collected Through Ayla (AI Voice Interviews)

When you participate in an Ayla interview, mock interview, or practice session, we may collect:

Audio recordings of the session
Transcripts generated from those recordings
Voice data processed for speech-to-text and conversational AI purposes
AI-generated evaluation reports, including scores, feedback, and behavioural observations
Session metadata, including duration, date, role applied for, and completion status

You will be notified prior to the commencement of an Ayla session when the session is being recorded.

Ayla recordings, transcripts, and evaluation information are used to provide and improve Rovrr’s interview and career-related services. Where applicable, any additional use of such information for AI model training or other purposes will be subject to applicable law and appropriate notice or consent requirements.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

IP address, device and browser information, and operating system
Pages visited, time spent, clicks, and interaction patterns
Cookies and similar tracking technologies, as described in Section 7
Approximate location derived from your IP address
Technical and usage information necessary to maintain security, performance, and reliability of the Platform

1.4 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information from third parties where permitted by applicable law, including:

Where you sign in through Google or another authentication provider, information such as your name, email address, and profile picture as authorized by you
Information from job sources, recruitment platforms, company websites, or other publicly available professional sources used to provide job discovery and matching services
Payment confirmation, transaction status, and related information from our authorized payment service providers, including Cashfree Payments and other payment processors that may be used by Rovrr from time to time
Information provided by business users or hiring organizations where you interact with them through the Platform

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Operate and maintain the Platform, including creating and managing your account
Provide job discovery, job matching, and other job-search related features
Analyze your profile and preferences to identify and present relevant employment opportunities
Generate application documents, including resumes, cover letters, and other career-related materials
Provide career insights, application support, and related AI-assisted features
Conduct and evaluate Ayla AI interview and practice sessions
Process transactions, including purchases of tokens, Job Cards, subscriptions, and other paid Rovrr services
Communicate with you regarding your account, services, transactions, job opportunities, billing, security, and important Platform updates
Provide customer support and respond to requests, questions, or complaints
Analyze usage patterns and improve the functionality, matching systems, AI-assisted services, security, and overall user experience of the Platform
Detect, prevent, investigate, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and lawful governmental requests

3. Disclosure of Your Information to Employers

Rovrr may provide technology-enabled tools that allow job seekers and Business Users to interact through the Platform.

By creating a profile and indicating your availability or interest in relevant roles or markets, you may choose to make certain profile information visible to Business Users on business.withrovrr.com (under construction) whose hiring requirements may match your profile.

Depending on your profile settings, subscription features, the relevant service, and applicable permissions, information made available to relevant Business Users may include your name, professional profile, contact information, resume/CV, skills, experience, AI match score, and, where applicable, relevant Ayla evaluation information.

You may modify your profile visibility preferences or deactivate your profile at any time through your account settings, where such controls are available. Changes to your visibility preferences will apply prospectively and may not affect information that was already accessed or disclosed before the change.

Rovrr does not guarantee employment, interviews, selection, hiring, or any particular employment outcome.

4. Sharing of Information With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose or provide access to information where reasonably necessary to operate the Platform and provide our services, including to:

Employers, recruiters, and other Business Users, as described in Section 3
Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers
AI, machine-learning, voice-processing, and technology service providers
Payment service providers and payment processors
Email, communication, customer-support, analytics, and security service providers
Professional advisers, auditors, or service providers where reasonably necessary
Governmental, judicial, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by applicable law
A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal requirements and this Privacy Policy

Our service providers are permitted to process information only as reasonably necessary to provide services to Rovrr and are subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, or data-protection obligations where applicable.

5. Payments

Rovrr uses authorized third-party payment service providers, which may include Cashfree Payments and other payment processors used by Rovrr from time to time, to process payments for paid services.

Payment processing is performed through the relevant payment service provider’s secure payment infrastructure. Rovrr does not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net banking credentials, or other payment authentication credentials.

We may retain transaction-related information such as transaction ID, order ID, payment status, amount, currency, billing information, invoice information, and refund information for accounting, customer-support, fraud-prevention, legal, and compliance purposes.

Your use of a third-party payment service may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain legitimate business records, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights.

Our general retention practices include:

Active accounts: retained for as long as your account remains active or as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services
Ayla recordings and transcripts: retained for up to 12 months from the date of the session, after which they may be deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is reasonably necessary for an active dispute, security investigation, legal obligation, or other lawful purpose
Inactive profiles: if you do not log in or otherwise use the Platform for 12 months, we may anonymize or delete your profile after providing reasonable notice where practicable
Transaction, invoice, and financial records: retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting, financial, and legal requirements
Support and dispute records: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and maintain appropriate business and legal records

Account Deletion

In accordance with applicable data-protection requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Rovrr provides users with a self-service option to delete their account directly through their profile or account settings.

When you choose to delete your account, your Rovrr profile and associated personal information will be scheduled for deletion from our active systems, subject to information that we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain for purposes such as tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or compliance with applicable law.

Once the applicable deletion process is completed, your profile and associated information will no longer be available through the Platform.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Keep you signed in and maintain account functionality
Remember preferences and settings
Understand how users interact with the Platform
Improve Platform functionality, performance, and user experience
Maintain security and detect fraudulent or abusive activity

You may control or disable certain cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality or availability of some Platform features.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

These measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication controls, security monitoring, and appropriate safeguards for service providers handling information on our behalf.

However, no method of transmission, storage, or electronic security is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored through the Platform.

Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to notify affected individuals and relevant authorities of qualifying personal-data breaches.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

The Platform is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

11. International Data Transfers

Some of our technology, cloud infrastructure, AI, communication, analytics, payment, or other service providers may process information outside India.

Where personal information is transferred or processed internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that such processing is subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable legal requirements.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or data-processing practices.

Where changes are material, we may notify users through email, the Platform, or another prominent notice, as appropriate.

The updated Policy will indicate its effective or “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgement of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
